Visalia: Paradise, Judy, Damaree, and Chinowth main replacement

California Water Service Company (Cal Water) would like to make you aware of a construction project beginning in your area on August 31, 2009. Under the supervision of Cal Water, West Valley Construction Co. will be installing new water main facilities on Paradise, Judy, Damaree, and Chinowth Streets.

Water services located in back yards will be replaced by new services in front yards and new water lines connecting the services to the houses. These facilities will improve water service in your area and allow better access for future maintenance and repairs.

The work will be done Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Our goal is to complete the project by November 25, 2009. During project construction, you may experience a minor disruption in water service. We will make every effort to provide advanced notice prior to any water service interruptions.

Please be aware that temporary asphalt will be applied over the project until permanent paving is completed, which we expect to occur by middle of October 2009. This time delay is necessary to allow the trench to become fully compacted so the road surface is smooth after permanent paving is completed.
